Responsibilies:

  • Positive leadership
  • Role model
  • Attend and control all Council meetings
  • Support your fellow students and staff
  • Official school representatives at formal school occasions
  • Run Council meetings
  • Meet with the principal after each parliamentary sitting
  • Liaise with Year 6 teachers and relevant committees
  • Write the end of term council report for the website
  • Reports the outcome at Council sittings of the meetings with the principal or AP
  • Opens Council meetings
  • Reads the Council Pledge
  • Keeps order
  • Ejects Council members after two formal warnings
