2021 Premier's Spelling Bee
Stage 2 and Stage 3
The finals of the Stage 2 and Stage 3 Premier's Spelling Bee was held on Tuesday 20th July 2021. What a fantastic event it was! The hall was filled with anxious anticipation as each finalist waited for their word to spell.
The Stage 2 final went to Round 15 before Jack Davies was declared the winner and Tokujin Harris the runner-up. It was extremely exciting.
Stage 3 went to Round 14 and was equally exciting. Charlotte White and Zac Dezarnaulds were declared joint winners.
We are pleased to announce our representatives for the regional final, they are:
Stage 2: Jack Davies
Stage 3: Charlotte White
This year the facilitators of the competition at regional level have requested online school representative in each school section.
The regional final has been postponed until a date to be announced in Term 4 this year.
Year 1 Spelling Bee Finals were held on Friday 30th July. What a morning, there were feelings of great anticipation and excitement from our Year 1 students.
We are so proud of all the finalists. They did such a brilliant job and all proved themselves to be excellent spellers.
The Winner of the 2021 Year 1 Final was Fin Gallo.
The Runner Up of the 2021 Year 1 Final was Phoebe Armstrong.
