This award factors in schools from all around Australia and includes public, private and independant schools.

Berry was awarded this high accolade due to our exceptional support programs that focus on holistic education and student wellbeing. We acknowledge the significant impact that positive student wellbeing has on belonging, achievement and mental health.

We pride ourselves on inclusion, support and an  environment that fosters learning and exploration. Our Living Ripples program provides students, teachers and families with tools and resources to identify challenges and reflect on mental health with the view to build resilience and provide necessary intervention. A dedicated First Nations Language and Culture program with our new partners Gadhungal Murring has enhanced belonging, connection and engagement.

Furthermore within the wellbeing space for teachers, students and parents we:

  • Actively use the wrap around support and tiered wellbeing interventions.
  • An enhance suite of extra-curricular programs for High Potential and Gifted students, now including Dance and Drama ensembles.
  • The completion of natural play ropes course plat are in response to student feedback.
