A small part of the challenge includes a grant that is given based on the number of students registered and actively participating. This grant can be used to support sporting and physical activity programs including equiptment, uniforms and targetted programs.
Last year a group of students and teachers got together and worked on these new, student led, designs. They made sure that each of the designs were different per sport (netball, rugby, basketball, soccer and running) but worked together to represent Berry Public School and look cohesive.
We have used this funding from PSC to go towards these new uniforms. But really it wouldn’t have been possible without the additional financial assistance of the amazing Berry PS P&C. We are very grateful for their contribution and without them we wouldn't be able to proudly wear these new uniforms.
We are so pleased with the final results of these uniforms and think that the students captured the Berry Public School spirit perfectly with their designed.
