Why is our annual Be You Celebration Day important?
A sense of belonging to school is an important protective factor for children’s mental health and wellbeing. It helps to reduce the impacts of risks that children may be exposed to.
According to Beyond Blue, one in seven young Australians experience a mental health condition. Here at Berry Public School we have a positive focus on mental health and wellbeing. A key strategic direction of our school is to provide a comprehensive and inclusive wellbeing framework to further strengthen our school culture - "The Berry Way".
Our annual Celebration Day is now in its third year.
We ask for your support by simply having a conversation with your children about how they demonstrated teamwork and what messages they learned from The Protectors performance.
Thank you for your ongoing support,
The School Culture & Wellbeing Team
